US Senate Candidate Wants Bonds for Alternative Energy
Laramie, WY – A candidate for the US senate says government-backed bonds would provide the incentives needed for developing alternative energy resources. Democrat Chris Rothfuss says people should be encouraged to invest in bonds designed for energy development.
Rothfuss says he also supports a cap and trade system on C02 emissions. He says senators Mike Enzi and John Barrasso have consistently voted against measures that would allow the country to move forward with a national energy policy.
