Laramie, Wy – Students graduating from the University of Wyoming this Saturday will likely see higher salary offers than last year's graduates. Director of Career Services, Jo Chytka says the down economy has not affected UW graduates yet.
"I would say starting salaries are still increasing, compared to last years graduates, maybe not as exponentially as they were. Students need to factor in the location of the position and a lot of other things. But if you look at both national averages and what we're seeing for our students, I think they'll be pleasantly surprised."
More than 14-hundred students will graduate this weekend. Chytka says that engineers, accountants and health professionals are getting the most job offers.
