U.W. Students Satisfied
Laramie, Wy – The University of Wyoming has put out the results of three student satisfaction surveys.
One of the three studies has been done since 1994, it and another offer comparisons to schools around the rest of the country. What the surveys show is that U-W students enjoy their experience on campus more than their peers, they view the quality of teaching to be about the same as other students in the U-S. The issue that drew the most negative responses was parking on campus. Students also indicated they would like career planning and job placement to improve at U-W.
Students said they are generally pleased with the cafeteria food. When asked about social climate, 30 percent said they found it to be homophobic.
