Weak dollar to boost Western ski season
Laramie, WY – Western ski resorts are expecting more foreign visitors this year, as the U-S dollar hits record lows against the Euro. The National Ski Area Association's Michael Berry says Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is well positioned to take advantage of the exchange rate because it does a good job recruiting foreign skiers.
"Two weeks in Jackson Hole has never been cheaper with Euros in your pocket," Berry says.
This week, one U-S dollar fell to about one-forty per Euro. Berry adds that the ski industry is strong and growing.
