WPR wins 2 national news awards

Washington, DC – Wyoming Public Radio won two national news awards Saturday.

A group of news directors across the country, known as PRNDI, awarded Wyoming Public Radio second place for best News and Public Affairs show for its program Open Spaces.

WPR took second place in best news writing for the story, Urban Bark Beetles, which aired last August.

The awards were handed out Saturday in Washington, DC.
