Cheyenne, Wy – The Wyoming business council will act on the largest number of requests they have ever seen when they meet this week. C-E-O Bob Jensen says the council will act on the 20 million dollar contract for the National Center for Atmospheric Research supercomputing center. But the Council will also consider a large number of other projects, thanks to some federal money.
"Beyond the normal Business Ready Communities, Community Facilities and Community Development Block Grants, the numbers have been significantly increased by federal stimulus dollars particularly in the State Energy Office."
Jensen says also on the list is a number of energy efficiency projects. The Business Council is scheduled to meet Tuesday and Wednesday in Cheyenne.
