Food banks, soup kitchens and other organizations that address hunger will have 100 thousand dollars in grant money made available to them courtesy of the Wyoming Community Foundation. Director George Gault says such groups are struggling to provide services because of the economy and so the community foundation will make grants worth five thousand dollars available. Gault says the need for food shows that not everyone is sharing in Wyoming's wealth.
Gault says they have revised their application process so that agencies can get funding help within the next month.
