Cheyenne, WY – Wyoming health officials fear some public health departments and local doctors won't have any flue vaccine on hand during this flu season. This after the British government suspended a major manufacturer's license. Wyoming Health Officer Dr. Brent Sherard says health officials are assessing how many vaccine doses Wyoming has on hand. Sherard fears many public health agencies across the state won't have any because they ordered the vaccine from the British company. He recommends only high risk groups, such as the elderly and children aged six to 24 months, receive flu shots this year.
