Wyoming Cowgirls Keep Rolling

Laramie, Wy – The Wyoming Cowgirls are firmly entrenched as the third seed in the upcoming Mountain West Conference basketball tournament. The Cowgirls have a record of 21 wins with just six losses. After Saturday's 77 to 56 win over U-N-L-V on Saturday Head Coach Joe Legerski admitted that his team has exceeded his expectations

"This group has a mentality of competing each and every night," says Legerski. They show up that way for practice, I've never had a team get something accomplished every day in practice. We talk about moving forward and getting better and not hanging around and think you will improve tomorrow, you need to do it today. So I tip my hat to this team. "

Wyoming's bench has been especially productive in the last two games and Legerski says only good things will happen if that continues. Wyoming wraps up its season this week, finishing against league leader B-Y-U Saturday in Laramie.
