Laramie, WY – Wyoming's Republican Party has both local and national plans underway to support the upcoming elections. Party Chair Jim Willox says grassroots level organizing in counties throughout Wyoming will be a key park in this year's election cycle. Willox says party members discussed the need for such grassroots organization at the state convention and a number of plans are operating in counties around the state. He says their organizing plans airm to get out the vote not only for the Bush/Cheney ticket, but also for Wyoming Repoublican congressional candidates, state legislators and county commissioners. In addition to local fundraising, the G-O-P leadership is traveling in August to the National Republican Convention to renominate President Bush and Vice President Cheney.
