Cheyenne, WY – Wyoming continues to see the value of its investments sink.
The latest figures from the Wyoming State Treasurer's Office show that the state's investments had a market value at the end of January of about 10 billion dollars.
The state originally paid about $11 billion for the investments, leaving the state with an unrealized loss of more than 1 billion dollars.
The Wyoming Retirement System reports that the value of its portfolio was 4-point-4 billion dollars at the end of January. That's down 200 million dollars from the month before.
