Wyoming officials weigh the stimulus

Cheyenne, WY – With few exceptions, state officials say they still aren't sure how much money Wyoming will get from the federal stimulus package.

Lynn Boomgarden is overseeing the state's effort to study the package. She says Wyoming appears to be eligible for $502 million, but that number may be revised downward. The state may choose to reject some funds, and it will have to apply for others. Boomgarden said it will be two to three weeks before detailed information is available.
