Wyoming's Army National Guard gets new leader

Laramie, WY – Col. Kathy Wright will take comand of the Wyoming Army National Guard and become assistant adjutant general-Army in a ceremony next week.
The change of command will be May 6 at the Guard Armory in
Cheyenne.
Wright will be promoted to brigadier general later.
The change of command and promotion were originally scheduled to
take place last year but were delayed.
Wright previously served as director of human resources at the
Joint Force Headquarters in Cheyenne and as commander of the 213th
Regiment Training Regional Institute at Camp Guernsey.
