Wyoming's Science Posse

Wyoming – Science education in the United States is going through a transition. Many educators are finding that kids don't learn science easily by memorizing facts in textbooks. They learn by being curious, asking their own questions and finding their own answers. To this end, the National Science Foundation is funding science and math graduate students to bring innovative science lessons into the classroom through a program called G -K twelve. In Wyoming, these students are better known as the Science Posse. Wyoming Public Radio Intern Kelly Herbinson is a Science Posse member. She files this report
