Yellowstone Rivers Dangerous

Laramie, Wy – As the summer tourist season kicks off this weekend, Yellowstone National Park is warning visitors of high and fast-flowing rivers.
Above normal winter snowpack, spring rain and warm temperatures has caused higher than normal runoff in the park.
Swimming areas at Boiling river near Mammoth and the Firehole River along the Firehole Canyon Drive are closed.
In addition, water temperature in lakes, rivers and streams is very cold right now and can quickly lead to hypothermia.
