Youth Emergency Services Center Gets Backing
Laramie, Wy – The city of Gillette has pledged up to two million dollars for a youth counseling and treatment center.
The pledge is contingent upon the facility raising at least one-and-a-half million dollars through donations.
The YES House had already set a goal of raising private funds to build a nearly eight-million-dollar complex on 20 acres north of Gillette.
The YES in YES House stands for Youth Emergency Services. The center offers counseling and treatment for children who have problems including abuse, depression and substance abuse.
