Anna Rader is the Online Manager and Production Assistant. She has a B.A. in Journalism with honors from the University of Wyoming and graduated in May of 2012. She started out as an intern for Wyoming Public Media in 2011 and during her time as an intern developed a new found passion for public radio. After being an intern for WPM, she became the Content Producer for Morning Music Host and Program Director Grady Kirkpatrick. She is now the Online Manager. She helps shape what you see on this website as well as social media outreach. She produces an online music series Single Shot Live, assists with programming, hosting, content production and many other tasks. In her spare time she enjoys being a cinephile, going to concerts, and has a passion for wanderlust.

When I moved from Davenport, Iowa to Laramie, Wyoming in December of 2008, of course I had the privilege of driving Interstate 80 across Iowa and Nebraska. On the second day of my trip, I crossed the border from Nebraska into Wyoming at Pinebluffs and of course I started messing with the radio and it stopped on 91.9 and I heard Pat Gabriel's voice and that's actually kind of when I knew I was back home.

Golden, Colorado bluegrass band Thunder and Rain are known for their "Mountain Made Colorado Country" music. Three of the five band members, guitarist and vocalist Erinn Lukes, mandolin player Pete Weber, and banjo player and vocalist R.P. Oates stopped by Wyoming Public Media on June 6. They played a live set on Morning Music ahead of their show on June 7 in Woods Landing.

Union Pacific Big Boy 4014 Arrives In Cheyenne

John Fadial: Ballade From Ysaÿe’s Sonata No. 3

John Fadial teaches violin at the University of Wyoming. On Thursday, April 17 he’ll perform with pianist Theresa Bogard at 7:30 pm at the Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts concert hall. Fadial says the recital emphasizes contemporary repertoire for violin and piano written since 1995, including works by Richard Danielpour, Aaron Jay Kernis, and Arvo Pärt.

Happy 50th Birthday UW Tyrannosaurus Rex Statue

This Tyrannosaurus rex statue has guarded the front of the University of Wyoming Geological Museum for 50 years.

The life-size copper Tyrannosaurus rex statue that stands guard outside the University of Wyoming Geological Museum is celebrating its 50th birthday today. The museum will host two cake parties—one today over lunch, and again from noon until 2 pm Saturday. Wyoming Public Radio’s Anna Rader and Micah Schweizer visited the T. rex and heard from passers-by and well-wishers.
