Wyoming Public Media (WPM) complies with the provisions of the Communications Act of 1934, 47 U.S.C. @396.et seq. that apply to public broadcasting stations receiving Community Service Grants from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), and reference requirements established by CPB’s General Provisions and Eligibility Criteria.
Wyoming Public Media is a federally licensed public broadcasting entity, and complies with Federal Communications Commission regulations governing broadcasting.
WPM is committed to safeguarding your personal membership information. WPM does not rent, sell, loan, give, or trade information obtained through membership and volunteerism.
The only use WPM makes of membership information is in communications with you about WPM and your membership and donor concerns. Examples of communications might include programming specials, event notifications, renewal and additional gift requests, surveys, and station e-newsletters. An example of procedural usage of membership information is having the post office verify addresses prior to a mailing to avoid the inefficiencies associated with invalid addresses.
WPM restricts access to information to those employees who need information to provide services and membership functions to you. WPM maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect this information. Entities outside WPM serving as fiduciary partners are required to sign a 3rd Party Privacy Agreement.
