The Education Recovery Scorecard is a joint research effort between Harvard and Stanford universities to measure the educational progress that students was lost or gained during the pandemic. Twenty nine states and Washington, D.C. have been ranked. Future research will focus on the effects of other factors that may have played a role, such as infection rates and how long schools were closed to in-person learning.
